This project involved the complete transformation of an existing rendered home in Frenchs Forest. During the design and planning process particular challenges were identified. These included the extensive amount of excavation and structural steel works required, alongside the knowledge that the clients would be living onsite for the duration of the project. Effective management of these difficulties resulted in both the client and builder being very pleased with the outcome of the project.
The main bedroom upstairs was extended considerably, thereby creating a new living area to the lower levels. The kitchen and dining area required extensive structural works. This incredible area captures the bushy panoramic view and boasts an impressive smart stone benchtop with plentiful storage. The internal joinery was completed by Creative Space Constructions.
Externally, major earthworks and excavation took place. A large section of existing rock was excavated and carefully removed to create a new external courtyard with seating, BBQ with polished concrete bench top and a new front elevation.
