This project beautifully demonstrates an extensive renovation of an existing basic, red brick house to accommodate a growing family. This architecturally-designed project included the building of a new pool, extensive landscaping and a covered rear entertainment area to maximise the flow from inside to outdoor living. A retaining wall built at the front elevation teamed with a magnificent, custom-built spotted gum timber door and side light, create a grand entrance to the home. Internal major construction involved a new main bedroom with ensuite and custom-made walk-in-robe. Also, the creation of an upper floor above the garage provides an extra living space, or alternatively could be converted to an extra bedroom. The kitchen and existing bathroom have been totally transformed and two additional bathrooms added.
Upon walking inside this home you are greeted with stunning hardwood timber floors. This Natural American Oak solid timber was completed with a lime wash finish. The seamless joinery is finished in both a white polyurethane and polytec timber panelling.
The project duration was 8 months.
