Client Brief – The owners of this semi federation style home wanted to open the back of the house and create a bright open plan living area, that included the kitchen, dining and living areas. As well as renovating the existing lounge room and relocating and building a new bright bathroom and laundry.
The project involved minor structural works to create a modern open plan kitchen, dining and living space. New skylights and a four-panel glass sliding stacker door opening leading into the back courtyard, to allow light and sun to beam in the rear living space.
The interior layout fitout also included the new bathroom with the inclusion of a laundry. Plus minor landscaping of the existing backyard, and deck area.
The finishes to the home complement the modern layout this home has now become.
